Talento Search Group has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in Waukegan, Illinois. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $33-34 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate shop tools and equipment
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs
• Help in installs of new plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, motors, and piping
• Use shop tools including lathes and milling machines
• Fabricating experience including burning and welding

Experience Needed:

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Industrial Maintenance Degree or Certifications are preferred
• Strong mechanical skill-sets including pumps, motors, compressors, pneumatics, and piping
• Ability to work at heights and climb ladders
• Proficiency in welding and fitting of pipes and plates
• Experience in fabricating, welding, and lathes
• Ability to work overtime as needed
